Our Story
CoJack started with a simple promise: treat people well, communicate clearly, and always stand behind the work. Founded by longtime inspection professional Steven Barth, we united multiple service companies under one trusted name so clients don’t have to manage a handful of vendors.
Today, our divisions cover inspections, pest control, handyman repairs, and construction management. Different specialties, same standard: honest assessments, quality workmanship, and a team that answers the phone when you call.

Steven Barth
Founder
Steven has completed more than 10,000 inspections over 13+ years and is licensed in Ohio for home inspections (since 2020), radon measurement, WDI, well, and septic. He stepped back from day-to-day inspections to co-found Hickory Medical, a patient-centered practice built on service and trust, the same values that guide CoJack. His approach is simple: treat people well, communicate clearly, and stand behind the work.
Blake Shaffer
Chief Financial Officer
Blake oversees financial growth, operational efficiency, and strategic expansion across CoJack’s divisions. His focus is on making sure each team operates seamlessly so every customer interaction feels simple and dependable.
Josh Jackson
Construction Management
Josh leads our construction management efforts, bringing hands-on experience and disciplined planning to residential and commercial projects. He align schedules, budgets, and quality controls so projects move forward with confidence.
Todd Deam
Pest Control (Licensed Chemical Applicator)
With 25+ years in customer service and business, Todd is known for professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic. As a licensed chemical applicator, he provides safe, effective, and honest pest control solutions and treats every home as if it were his own.
